For your information
A few thing you need to know to make both of our lives easier:
It's always best to drop off your car, I don't have a waiting area, plus car repair is not a spectator sport, not yet anyway. But to help with organizing your schedule we do have a couple of loaner cars, when you book your car, mention you need one, and we'll do our best to make sure one is available for you.
Please make sure you car has at least a quarter of tank of fuel when dropping off for repair. Especially if test drives are required.
When dropping off you car, please bring me a note with what you're expecting, even if we've talked about it, as well as your contact information.
After hours pick up is possible on week days only. Make sure you arrange payment BEFORE the shop closes for the day. Between 5pm Friday and 7am Monday the shop is closed, no one is available and drop offs or pick ups will not be possible.
I don't generally install customer supplied parts, unless we've discussed it before hand.
The only payment plan we have is with project cars. Long term projects that take more than 2 weeks will have a running invoice paid in full each Friday, You'll know how much it'll be and we'll automatically bill your credit card the outstanding balance.
I accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit Card, and Cash. I don't accept personal cheques with out a credit card.
The shop is closed on weekends and holidays, and between Christmas and New Years, plus any scheduled training.
I live with my family at the same address as the shop. I ask that you respect my business hours. I am very accommodating about dropping off and picking up cars after hours on weekdays. No weekends. Please make sure your arrangements are made in advance.
Camping near by is easy. Graves Island Provincial Park is beautiful and only a few minutes away. Camping 'at the shop' is NOT permitted.
Any vehicles that are here for more than 2 weeks after they are completed will be considered abandoned and will be moved to our storage lot and $25 per day fee will be charged. Parking is always at a premium.
